In these six hour long sessions, Emma gives practical cookery demonstrations, motivation and inspiration for transforming your kitchen habits which, if applied, will transform your vitality and energy levels.

Session 1: The Stock Pot

Learn all about the stock pot, a delicious, super nutritious and inexpensive addition to any kitchen. Increase mineral content in your meals using affordable cuts of meat. 

In this session we'll talk about;

  • Affordable and Nutritious cuts of meat
  • Mineral Deficiency, sources of mineral supplements.
  • Symptoms – why are we all here talking about food as medicine?

Session 2: Fats

Good fats, bad fats, transfatty acids, what fat can you fry? With so much contradictory information circulating in the media it can be hard to know what is OK to eat. 

In this session we learn to make ghee, render lard and tallow (rendered beef fat) and make a sweet butter mint to stave off those sugar cravings.

We'll talk about;

  • Rendering Lard, Ghee, Extra Virgin oils
  • Good Fats – Bad Fats
  • Flax and Fish oils, Fresh Mackarel, Sardines, Salmon
  • Essential Fatty Acids

Session 3: Comfort Foods

Eating should be a satisfying pleasure, we don't need to miss out on yummy, comforting foods.  In this session we will show you recipes and talk about the why's and wherefores.

  • Paleo Pizza
  • Paleo Muffins
  • Industrial Agriculture, Big Pharma,
  • Food Industry and “food-like” products

Session 4: Green Smoothies

Discover how you can up your intake of antioxidants with the wonderful world of greens. 

  • What are antioxidants?
  • How to make green smoothies
  • Why eat raw food before cooked?

Session 5: Fermented Foods

Learn about the health benefits and how to make your own home made probiotics, including yoghurt, sauerkraut, kimchee, kombucha, water kefir, milk kefir. 

We'll talk about;

  • Fermented foods
  • SCD Yogurt
  • Gut Flora / Gut dis-biosis
  • GAPS

Session 6: Cleansing

Discover the importance of cleansing our bodies and minds and practical ways to do it.

We'll talk about;

  • Fasting
  • The 'Healing Crisis'

  • 70:30 ratio on the plate, the 5 a day myth
  • Cider Vinegar

The sessions are approximately an hour long and are filmed with a live audience during a course run at Grandma Alchemy's Kitchen, UK.
